Ferngrove Psychology provides evidence-based psychological assessments and therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. We are currently accepting new clients and have no waitlist.

Assessments focus on neurodevelopmental presentations including ADHD, Autism, combined ADHD + Autism (AuDHD), and cognitive / learning profiles where indicated. Reports are written to be clear, practical, and clinically useful for our referrers and clients.

Therapy services are available for adolescents and adults, with a focus on evidence-based approaches tailored to the individual’s presentation and goals. This may include support for anxiety, mood difficulties, adjustment concerns, trauma-related presentations, and much more.

Suitable Referrals

Assessment referrals are appropriate for child, adolescent, and adult individuals seeking:

  • ADHD assessment

  • Autism assessment

  • Combined ADHD + Autism (AuDHD) assessment

  • Cognitive assessment

  • Learning assessment (dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia)

  • Diagnostic clarification to inform treatment planning, supports, or accommodations

Treatment referrals are appropriate for adolescent and adult individuals seeking support with:

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Trauma and PTSD

  • Addiction & Substance Use

  • Major Life Stressors

  • Somatic Symptom Disorder(s)

    Private-pay and Medicare-referred clients are accepted. Capacity for NDIS and NDIA-managed clients is currently being developed.

    Note. Please consider alternative services for referrals involving:

  1. Forensic or court-ordered assessments

  2. Acute crisis presentations or current high risk clients that require urgent and complex care

What you can expect as a referrer

You can expect clear, timely communication throughout the assessment and treatment process. Where consent is provided, referrers are kept informed of assessment progress and treatment outcomes. Written assessment reports are delivered within 15 business days of testing completion (case complexity dependent). Reports are structured to support timely follow-up care, treatment planning, and onward referral where required.
